Head Coach Al Lacko

A native to the Lorain county area who has spent over 15 years coaching youth sports for CYO, YMCA and Elyria City Parks and Recreation. Most recently was assistant coach with Dave Wesley of the Elyria YMCA Swim Team for three years helping win the small division Championship.

After attending high school, Al served in the USMC and is a Viet Nam veteran. He also attended Wooster College Majoring in Business, Accounting and a minor in Computer Science.

He has spent the last 32 years working for the Bendix Corporation as an Application Developer, Infrastructure Architect and is currently the Americas, Regional Data Center Manager.

Al and his wife Carol live in Elyria and have three children and four grandchildren. He believes that children are Gods gift and it is a privilege and a responsibility to help them achieve to their full abilities not only as athletes but as a person.
